The Digital Video Producer is an integral part of the London Assembly Communications team. If you’re a self-shooter and a fast video editor, take a look at this role.
Video is a great way for the Assembly to showcase the great work it does in and around London. You will work with colleagues and elected politicians to raise awareness and understanding of the value of the role of the Assembly with all Londoners.
There are some very busy days, but you will have some fun along the way!
The key responsibilities are:
1. Providing support to the External Communications team in the production of video and photographic content for all digital platforms.
2. Travel around London accompanying London Assembly Committees on site visits, filming the activities and interviews for the final video output and taking photographs on occasion for social media.
3. Use editing software to produce short, compelling video outputs for use on the Assembly website and social media feeds.
4. Uploading video and photography to the various internal filing systems, as well as external hosts like YouTube.

This role will be based at City Hall, in the Royal Docks (Kamal Chunchie Way, London, E16 1Z). At present GLA staff are working largely from home, with office space available. Over the coming weeks and months, we will be moving to hybrid working as part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
