With a number of initiatives already set to launch, we need talented people to help us see them through. Put your project management and development experience to work here, and you’ll deliver mixed-use developments to benefit all Londoners, working with leading developers on some of the capital’s largest projects.
The opportunity
Your expertise in regeneration, development or property will help us manage public land and property assets to benefit London’s communities. Overseeing a range of high-profile strategic land and development projects, you’ll also provide specialist technical development support and advice to the Royal Docks team. From procurement to disposal strategy, development viability to town planning, you’ll ensure we deliver both affordable homes and economic development, and make Royal Docks a great place to live, work and visit. We’re also working on area wide strategies for public realm, energy and digital connectivity and you will lead on the shaping of those plans for the benefit of the area.
The person
You’ll have significant experience of regeneration or development, including the management of large projects from initiation to completion. This requires a sound grasp of technical issues such as procurement, design, project finance and planning. Experience of structuring development agreements and joint ventures in the development sector is vital. You’ll also need to understand the principles of place-making. Adept at building effective working relationships, you’ll have exceptional influencing and negotiating skills.
