The Census team provides data and expertise on census and population data for teams across the Greater London Authority and wider stakeholders in London. We are working to ensure that the next census, in 2021, provides the evidence London will need to drive mayoral policies over the next decade.

You’ll need experience of dealing with large complicated datasets, be confident in preparing and presenting findings to both expert and non-specialist customers, and be able to demonstrate knowledge of current developments in population statistics.

The team sits within the GLA’s Intelligence Unit, a multidisciplinary team of statisticians, economists and data scientists who provide data driven analysis and advice to inform policy and delivery across London.
