We are looking for committed individuals to join the Greater London Authority (GLA) Apprenticeship Programme at City Hall, home of the Mayor of London and the London Assembly or within one of our partner organisation Mayor Office for Policing and Crime (Mopac) or Old Oak Park and Development Corporation (OPDC).
On offer is the chance to get hands-on experience working with one of our many and varied teams, while contributing to work across the organisation which impacts on the future of London. In addition, you have the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification, and additional skills which will enhance your career journey.
As an apprentice you will follow a structured programme of learning which combines practical training and duties with formal study. Working alongside experienced staff you will gain job specific skills and a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification.
This apprenticeship is suitable for you if you are able to demonstrate:

· You able to demonstrate a keen level of interest in working for the GLA or its partners.

Apprentice case studies
The Mayor has announced that City Hall will be relocating from More London (London Bridge) to the Crystal Building in the Royal Docks.
It is likely that most apprenticeship roles will be based at Union Street (near London Bridge) and at The Crystal Building (from January 2022).

Due to the current circumstances regarding coronavirus and the encouragement of employees to work from home where possible, many GLA staff are currently working remotely and not in office buildings. Apprentices will should be prepared to work and attend training partially remotely as part the apprenticeship. You will be provided with a Surface Pro laptop and offered the relevant support and training to support with working remotely.

Candidate Open Evening
We are holding a virtual open evening on Thursday 15 April from 17:30- 19:00. This is for candidates who would like to know more about the GLA Apprenticeship Programme before submitting their application. Attending this session will help you gain an understanding of the role, the apprenticeship and the recruitment process.
