Lettings & Events Officer

We are looking for an exceptional person to join our Facilities Management team

authorising large scale outdoor events, commercial activities, protests and rallies at Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square Garden and meetings, events and conferences within City Hall – the office of the Mayor of London.  

 

You will play an essential role in the authorisation process of the activities from a landlord perspective.  You will work with a diverse range of people including clients, production teams, and statutory authorities, on behalf of the Greater London Authority.  Ensuring all activities are not only well planned and managed, but also fully compliant with all regulatory & statutory requirements.

 

As well as having managed and operated large events and functions in a high profile environment, the successful candidate will have experience in reviewing health and safety (RAMS), licensing, and event management plans, you will have excellent communication skills.  Confident working both as part of a great team and independently, with excellent attention to detail and administration skills. Flexibility is essential, as some evening and weekend work will be required.
