An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced support staff to join the Planning Division at the GLA.

Planning is core business to the GLA, and now is an exciting time to join the service having recently re-organised itself into a dynamic service ready to meet the challenge of delivering for London.

You will be working on the most strategically important and biggest developments that affect the lives of Londoners, through the referral process.  Most importantly you will involved in ensuring we have the right information supporting referrals, supporting the planners in their daily work, preparing and circulating agendas and supporting the Mayors and Deputy Mayors in the hearing process.

To succeed you will have an excellent track record of achievement working in public services and well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

The GLA is a high profile and fast-paced environment, and therefore these roles are often busy and challenging, but also exciting and very rewarding. You must be at the top of your profession and very confident in operating in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment and be able to demonstrate the ability to remain calm and clear headed under pressure.
