The Technology Group at the Greater London Authority are responsible for providing a range of high quality systems and technology solutions to the Mayor’s Office and the London Assembly to support their work overseeing a vibrant and exciting City.
We are looking for an experienced technology leader to become our Cloud Services and Operations Manager. In this role you will manage a team of Senior Engineers providing system support along with architecting our infrastructure and technology services.
You will lead on an exciting agenda of technological change – moving the GLA services into the Cloud and expanding our reach as we begin to provide services to other public sector bodies.
An accomplished manager, you will be strong technically, ideally experienced in designing and supporting cloud based services as well as being driven by a desire to deliver a first-rate customer experience. You will also need to demonstrate strong skills in managing technical implementation and delivery through suppliers and partners – ensuring all work has an architectural fit in line with our agreed strategy.
