This is your opportunity to join the GLA’s Development, Enterprise and Environment Directorate to support the Regeneration Unit in fulfilling the Mayor’s role to promote and deliver skills and regeneration within London.


The Regeneration Unit are responsible for the management and delivery of a range of capital programmes, including the Skills for Londoners Fund and Good Growth Fund. You will play a key part in supporting the delivery of these programmes and a wide range of skills and regeneration projects.


Key skills for this role include excellent planning, administration and organisational skills, good communication skills, experience of relationship management and an ability to respond effectively to pressure and changing priorities. The role will include general admin support to the team’s programmes, financial support including placing purchase orders, maintaining and distributing programme documentation, the coordination of responses to public enquiries about the teams work and questions arising from the London Assembly.


You will also have: -

•Demonstrable ability and experience in the support of project and programme delivery management

•Well developed IT skills and experience of using financial or project management systems and processes

•An awareness of the planning and political context of London including skills and regeneration.


It is also important that the successful candidate understands the importance of good internal governance processes and programme management.
