The role of Resourcing Operations Officer is a newly created position within the GLA's resourcing team to help oversee the day to day recruitment operations.   

The resourcing team is responsible for providing a full range of recruitment services across the whole organisation, including the Mayors Office and the London Assembly.  On average we advertise around 30 vacancies a month which cover a wide range of roles in high profile teams.

You will manage a team of Resourcing Assistants and an Apprentice and have responsibility for supporting and developing them on daily basis, so we can continue to attract and recruit excellent and diverse talent.   

You will have good experience of using applicant tracking systems and be able to evidence your ability to influence managers at all levels and respond to presssure and change. 

The ideal candidate will be an experienced recruiter who has managed an in-house recruitment team to deliver a high quality end to end recruitment service and has the ability to work in a complex and political environment.  

Candidates with strong experience of streamlining recruitment processes and improving operational efficiency, to ensure a first class service is provided to hiring managers and candidates, will be at a distinct advantage.
