We are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of business policy issues and experience of managing relationships between government and business leaders. Working as part of the Business Engagement team this role will support the Mayor and Deputy Mayor for Business in championing the interests of the business community.

Duties will involve supporting the team’s work, which covers a wide portfolio of business policy and sectoral issues, helping companies of all types and sizes navigate challenges like Brexit, setting up businesses in the capital, and attracting and retaining the talent they need to grow.

You will support business engagement activities, which will involve building relationships with business representatives, planning and delivering projects and events, researching and understanding the needs of business and key business issues, briefing the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, and delivering business-facing campaigns.
