Digital Marketing & Community Growth Officer

We are looking for a Digital Marketing & Community Growth Officer to join the Talk London team.  
 
You will join a dynamic team driving digital citizen engagement through City Hall’s online community platform, Talk London. You’ll be able to identify and foster opportunities to extend the reach of Talk London's work and community across the organisation and to external stakeholders and Londoner's, to grow and diversify the Talk London membership.   
 

You will manage consumer focused digital acquisition plans, including organic and paid programmes and campaigns, using learnings and analysis from data gathered through engagement and research. You’ll understand how to interpret campaign data and be able to optimise the campaigns to achieve new member targets.   

 
You will oversee and advise on the development, delivery and coordination of stakeholder communications and engagement relating to the portfolio of Talk London's work and acquisition strategy; helping policy teams to effectively use their networks to recruit new Talk London members. Your ability to collaborate with different teams across the organisation will be vital.  

 

This is a digital role and you will be results-driven, tracking every aspect of work and optimising efforts towards most effective engagement tactics and user journeys, communications and copy. You will be able to create reports on member acquisition and churn, and understand how these effect the make up of the Talk London community.  

 
Above all else, you will be excited by using your skills to run campaigns that helps Londoners have their say on big issues and helps shape City Hall plans and policies.

This role will be based at London Fire Brigade’s Head Office (Union Street SE1 0LL).   GLA staff are hybrid working up to 3 days a week in our offices and remotely depending on their role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
