Digital Communications Manager

We’re looking for a digital communications expert to join our team at City Hall, ensuring all Londoners are aware of the Mayor’s policies and programmes and how to participate in their city.

 

As Digital Communications Manager in the External Affairs Unit, you’ll work closely with the Head of Digital Communications in the Mayor’s office to develop and deliver an innovative, ambitious and high performing digital communications strategy for the Mayor of London.

 

You’ll manage a small team, comprising a Senior Digital Marketing Officer, a Digital Content Editor, a Video Producer and a Social Media Executive. You’ll manage the overall delivery of digital engagement and digital communications campaigns and will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the GLA’s social media channels across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. You’ll also manage and develop the GLA’s email communications programme, developing and implementing acquisition, retention and automation strategies. 

 

You should bring experience of digital and social media campaigns, content marketing, digital advertising, analytics, optimisation, channel growth and channel strategy development. You should have line-management experience and be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, agencies and suppliers. You should have experience managing small budgets and procurement exercises.
