The Mayor of London has published the draft London Plan, which provides a framework for more inclusive growth in the City. This forms part of an exciting planning agenda for the delivery of sustainable development and tackling London’s housing crisis by increasing the provision of affordable housing.
The GLA has established a new in-house expert London Viability Team based within the strategic Planning Team, to advise the Mayor on viability matters in plan and decision making.
Working alongside the Viability Team Manager and Viability Expert Adviser, you will advise the Mayor of London on referable planning applications of potential strategic importance containing viability assessments and related policy and guidance. You will be an experienced senior planner or surveyor with expertise in development viability, Section 106 agreements and affordable housing.
