Executive Assistant – Mayor of London’s Private Office



A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to join the Mayor’s private office, supporting the Mayoral Director, External and International Affairs and the Mayoral Director, Policy.

 

As well as all the traditional duties such as managing busy diaries, arranging meetings, commissioning briefing papers and and responding to a wide range of correspondence and requests for information, you will act as an important interface between the Mayoral Directors and a range of senior stakeholders and politicians both internally and externally.

 

To succeed you will have an excellent track record of achievement working at a senior level in a high profile role for a senior politician or CEO, with well developed interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.

 

The Mayor’s private office is a high profile and fast-paced environment, and therefore the role of Executive Assistant is often exciting, busy and challenging, but also very rewarding. You must be at the top of your profession and very confident in operating in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment and be able to demonstrate the ability to remain calm and clear headed under pressure.
