Lettings and Events Officer

We are looking for an exceptional, organised and professional person to join our Facilities Management team on a part time basis covering the hiring process and authorisation of events and conferences within City Hall – the office of the Mayor of London, and also to supervise staff operating the City Hall ‘help desk’ for lettings and enquiries.

You will play an essential role in the authorisation process of the activities from a landlord perspective.  You will work with a diverse range of people including internal and external clients, production teams and statutory authorities, on behalf of the Greater London Authority.  Ensuring all activities are not only well planned and managed, but also fully compliant with all regulatory & statutory requirements.

As well as having managed and operated events, functions and lettings in a high-profile environment, the successful candidate will have experience in reviewing health and safety (RAMS), licensing, and event management plans.  You will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be confident working both as part of a great team and independently, with excellent attention to detail and administration skills. Flexibility is essential, as some evening and weekend work will be required.
