Senior Projects Officer

The Greater London Authority are looking for a projects officer to support the delivery of the Mayor’s draft London Housing Strategy commitments to improve the private rented sector in London. These include promoting good quality landlords and letting agents, supporting local licensing schemes and borough enforcement against criminal landlords, administering the Mayor’s Rogue Landlord and Agent Checker and promoting tenancy deposit loans among London’s employers.

 

You should have some understanding of housing issues in London, with experience of working on similar public initiatives.  You will also need to have an ability to work accurately at speed, solve problems independently, think strategically and communicate effectively with external organisations.
