An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a brand new team in the GLA’s Housing & Land directorate.
We are looking for a Programme Officers to join the Building Safety team. The team’s job will be to help us improve the safety of London’s homes. The Private Sector Cladding Remediation Fund (PSCRF) is designed to ensure high-rise buildings in London with certain types of unsafe cladding are made safe as quickly as possible. Delivering this fund is a high profile and urgent task which is central to achieving the Mayor’s vision that all Londoners should benefit from a safe, good quality home.
This newly created role will provide a vital support function for the Building Safety team. This includes monitoring and reporting on performance, assisting with processing applications and payments, helping to manage input from legal and technical advisors, and dealing with correspondence from stakeholders and residents.
You will have experience of working on a complex project or programme, ideally in a field related to housing or building safety. You will be well-organised, good at building effective relationships with everyone from senior decision-makers to members of the public, and have excellent attention to detail.
