Mayor's Correspondence Senior Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mayor of London’s Correspondence Team. 

We are looking for an experienced candidate to join a busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of activity - including ensuring Mayoral correspondence is appropriately managed, drafting correspondence, providing guidance to staff on correspondence procedures, providing analysis and evaluation of correspondence reports, researching information to inform responses and representing the Mayor’s Office at correspondence meetings.

We are looking for a candidate who has strong writing and research skills and demonstrable experience working in a complex and political environment with tight timelines, managing a large caseload and competing priorities successfully. The ability to evidence the experience of managing a large volume of work is essential.

The successful candidate will need to take ownership of their work, demonstrate they are proactive and able to build strong working relationships, with a proven ability to work with different levels of stakeholders both inside and outside of City Hall.

This role will be based at Greater London Authority, City Hall, The Queen’s Walk, London, SE1 2AA.
