GLA3235- Network Lead (Central London)

Team London, the Mayor of London’s volunteer team, is seeking to recruit a Network Lead (Central London) to join the existing team.

 

The Network Lead will manage and oversee the London Enterprise Adviser Network (LEAN) in Central London boroughs. The role will be responsible for working with the delivery partner in central London boroughs to ensure successful operational delivery of the Network through effective contract management.

 

Working alongside the existing Network Leads, the person will build strategic relationships by identifying and connecting key senior stakeholders within their designated boroughs and will play a vital role in ensuring that the Network is well connected, informed and reflective of the Mayor’s priorities across careers education, skills and social mobility. This role will involve regular contact with senior stakeholders across a wide range of partners including:

  • The Careers & Enterprise Company
  • GLA departments including: Economic Business Policy Unit and the London Economic Action Partnership (LEAP)
  • Schools, colleges and multi-academy trusts
  • Employers/the self-employed
  • Local authorities, Business Improvement Districts and strategic partners
  • Programme funders and delivery partners

The Network Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing cross cutting projects and activities connected to their designated sub region and local skills strategy. We are looking for someone who has great interpersonal skills, has experience of working across a wide range of stakeholders and is flexible and adaptable. This role will include travel and requires excellent written and verbal communication skills.
