Senior Policy and Projects Officer

We are seeking a talented individual to join the team responsible for tackling air pollution in the capital. You will arrive at an exciting time as we take forward projects and policies that are starting to have a real and measurable impact on reducing air pollution in London.

Excellent organisational, research and problem-solving and delivery skills will be crucial to your success. You’ll need a demonstrable flair for communicating and influencing as well as building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

The role requires a flexible, adaptable, and collaborative approach, and will involve working on many initiatives simultaneously, in a fast paced and political environment.

The ability to interpret, analyse and present data and technical information would be an advantage, as would experience in air quality or a related field. However, strong applicants who can demonstrate that they have transferable skills and the ability to learn and adapt quickly will also be considered.

The Air Quality team is based within the GLA Environment Team which is responsible for the delivery of the London Environment Strategy. This is a rare opportunity to work with colleagues who are committed to making a difference to the lives of Londoners and future generations.
