Senior Project Officer

“Are you a skilled and self-assured project manager?  Have you been tempted by the thought of putting policy into practice?  Do you thrive when confronted with a problem to solve or when asked to negotiate complex contractual arrangements”?

If so, a role in the GLA’s Regeneration Delivery Unit may be for you.  The Delivery Unit commissions and manages projects that support the Mayors objectives of creating jobs for Londoners, helping Londoners gain the skills and experience they need to compete in London’s competitive labour market, and helping businesses to grow.

We are looking for a Senior Project Officer to work in a team who commission and manage the delivery of the GLA’s ESF Programme. You will manage a portfolio that will include both ESF and GLA projects. You will come to us with excellent stakeholder management and organisation skills, experience of delivering programmes or projects, and the ability to analyse and interpret information to assess risk, brief decision makers and identify workable solutions to problems as they arise.  The role offers a great way to develop your career at the GLA and may suit those interested in a secondment.
