Senior Research and Statistical Analyst – Social Policy

Our Intelligence Unit is expanding our social evidence base to address the Mayor of London’s priorities on social integration and social mobility. We have two opportunities for people who want to apply their analytical knowledge and skills to improve the lives of Londoners.


The successful candidate will develop and conduct a range of innovative data analysis and other projects to improve our understanding of social integration and social mobility, in line with the Mayor’s strategies being developed in these areas. You will ensure that these projects and insight from other research on issues like diversity and inclusion, economic fairness, and active citizenship contribute to making the GLA the leading city for its social evidence supporting policy.

You will need experience of delivering social research and analysis projects to provide insight to support policy making and strategy development, the ability to design and commission research where needed, excellent data analysis skills, and the ability to write reports for publication.

This is a 2 year fixed term contract or secondment opportunity
