Designer x 2 (Full time and Part time)

This is a fantastic opportunity for two talented, ideas-driven designers to join a highly creative, award-winning inhouse design team at the heart of London’s government.

We’re looking to appoint a full-time designer and a part-time (2 days a week) designer, adept at generating and developing creative concepts that work across a variety of channels – primarily digital, social media, print and OOH.

You’d get the chance to work on integrated campaigns that make a real difference to Londoners’ lives. Anything from helping to tackle homelessness to promoting a more inclusive school curriculum to supporting the city’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. The briefs are as wide-ranging as the city itself.

You are self-motivated and collaborative, comfortable juggling multiple projects and working under pressure during busy times. You have a hawk’s eye for detail and the ability to see the bigger picture. A confident communicator, happy to pitch and present work to a range of stakeholders.

Reporting to the Senior Designer, you will be working across the Mayor of London and London Assembly brands.

Are you passionate about great design? Do you have solid experience of working either inhouse or in an agency in a design role? Do you have a portfolio demonstrating a range of creative projects? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

One post is full time (37 hours a week) and one post is part time (14.8hrs a week, Thursday and Friday) as part of a job share arrangement.

Please read the JOB DESCRIPTION and PERSON SPECIFICATION for more information above the role.
