You’ll also help us to attract interest and visitors to this exciting part of London.

The opportunity

Working collaboratively with colleagues in key partner organisations including the Greater London Authority, London Borough of Newham, ExCel, London City Airport and Transport for London, you’ll develop a communications strategy that establishes the Royal Docks Enterprise Zone and Opportunity Area as a prime location for business development, enterprise and innovation.  Aimed at the widest possible audience, both locally and internationally, your strategies and activities will communicate our unique investment opportunity. You will co-ordinate events, source speakers, develop messaging and maximise press exposure.

The person

You’ll bring substantial experience of communications and media relations in a complex, political environment. A strong track-record in event management is also essential. You should be skilled in marketing communications, in particular the production of advertising and promotional materials. Good written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to generate engaging copy for a wide range of audiences, will be vital to your success. You should also be capable of building productive partnerships and managing diverse stakeholders.
