Test Analyst

We’re looking for a Test Analyst to join our experienced and creative digital team. You’ll be part of a wider multidisciplinary and agile delivery team, developing and improving London.gov.uk to meet users’ needs.

We’re a friendly and dynamic team, working on lots of varied requests for new functionality and digital products that will help us engage with Londoners and communicate the work of City Hall.

As Test Analyst, you’ll champion the user, ensuring the best digital experience for the diverse audiences of London.gov.uk and related products. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that new functionality, features and bug fixes are fully tested and validated to meet acceptance criteria and offer a consistent and good user experience.

You’ll work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders across City Hall to deliver all aspects of regression and user acceptance testing, designing and conducting test cases based on user stories.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic self-starter, who is passionate about ensuring best practice in user experience and keen to suggest and deliver improvements to the testing process. As the first point of call internally for enquiries on functional issues, you’ll communicate clearly and confidently with Product Owners and external agencies to analyse, document and resolve complex technical issues. With excellent problem solving and communications skills, you’ll be comfortable managing stakeholder expectations and changing priorities.

Importantly, you’ll also be a team player, helping support and upskill Product Owners and digital leads across the organisation.

You’ll have opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills with access to lots of in-house training and will be encouraged to get involved in external training, conferences and workshops. In fact, we’re always building on our expertise and our networks – learning from and collaborating with the Government Digital Service, Transport for London (TfL) and other London councils.
