Sports Policy, Programme and Projects Officer

‘Sport Unites’ is the Mayor's new, multi-million-pound flagship community sports investment programme. ‘Sport Unites’ aims to harness the power of sport to achieve the Mayor’s ambition of making London the most active and socially integrated city in the world.

The GLA is looking to recruit an experienced programme and projects officer to support the development, mobilisation, and the ongoing implementation and management of ‘Sport Unites’ and support the wider work of the Mayor’s Sports Unit including producing written briefings, replying to correspondence and contributing to policy development.

Candidates are required to demonstrate a track record of successfully supporting complex, multi-stakeholder programmes, grant administration, managing projects and supporting policy development. A demonstrable understanding of the community sport landscape in London and the UK is also required.
