Project Officer – Refugee Resettlement

The GLA’s Social Integration team is looking for a driven and experienced project officer, committed to supporting London’s efforts to re-settle refugees.

The crisis in Ukraine and conflicts in Afghanistan, Syria and beyond have led to the displacement of millions of people across the World. The Mayor of London is clear that London stands ready to help meet the needs of refugees.

Joining a small and busy team, the postholder will work with partners across central and local government, voluntary and community sector and wider civil society to support the co-ordination of resettlement efforts across the city.

The post holder will be someone who uses their initiative, is excellent at building and maintaining relationships and ideally has some knowledge and experience of refugee support, or community re-settlement routes.

Please ensure your supporting statement clearly addresses all of the person specification criteria (technical requirements and behavioural competencies).
