Senior Project Officer (Community Led Housing)

Do you want to play a key role in helping to design and run large-scale housing delivery programmes to improve the lives of Londoners, including people coming together to develop community led housing, older and disabled people, victims of violence against women and girls, and homeless people?

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic person to join the GLA to assist with the delivery of new community led housing, and the delivery of new and the improvement of existing, supported and specialist housing in the capital. With strong skills in building strong and effective working relationships with partners, you will work closely and collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including the London Community Led Housing Hub, community led housing organisations, London boroughs and housing associations. You will be an excellent project manager, with experience of managing capital investment programmes and of monitoring and reporting on performance. You will also have a strong understanding of housing delivery issues in London, ideally including some understanding of the planning and construction process, and of development viability.
