Keeping the Mayor’s housing programmes on track

 

The housing crisis is one of the greatest challenges facing the capital – and the Mayor of London has ambitious plans to tackle it. The Greater London Authority (GLA) is working hard to make genuinely affordable homes a reality for more people. The scale of the challenge is huge, but so is our commitment. Together we can build a London for everyone.

The opportunity

From budgeting to expenditure, outcomes to impacts, you’ll take the lead in monitoring and reporting on our diverse housing and land programmes. You’ll ensure our management teams have all the financial and performance data they need to stay in touch with progress and address any issues. You will also analyse both qualitative and quantitative data to generate new insights, as well as modelling new investment programmes in line with strategy and future policy direction.

The person

 

Proficient in the use of IT systems, you’ll have advanced experience of Excel and Business Object or equivalent data analysis tools.  You’re likely to have a relevant qualification or work-based experience, including exposure to large investment programmes. Your proven problem-solving and analysis abilities will be matched by strong communication skills and the ability to translate research outcomes into concise, meaningful reports.
