Senior Project Officer (ESOL Coordinator)

The GLA has an exciting opportunity for a pro-active and enthusiastic individual who wants to improve London’s effectiveness at providing access to English language learning for speakers of other languages.

 

Joining the Social Integration team, the post holder will work with London stakeholders to harness the complementary role of informal English language support alongside formal ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). They will develop a project to maximise opportunities for social integration for learners and volunteers. They will share learning from ESOL pilots with teams within the GLA and externally.

 

The post holder will be someone who can take the initiative, is excellent at relationship building, and who has knowledge and experience of delivering and coordinating ESOL provision.
