Do you want to contribute to the success of one of the Mayor’s key manifesto commitments – making his new Energy Company (London Power) a success?  Are you excited by the challenge of bringing a different kind of energy to Londoners – always fair, always affordable, always green? Do you have senior contract, people and programme management skills and energy retail experience? If so, this exciting and varied role in the GLA’s Environment Team – managing the delivery by Octopus Energy of the Mayor’s energy company - could be your perfect next step.

   

We are looking for a senior leader, who is an enthusiastic, decisive, organised and highly motivated person with expertise in managing complex contracts and a strong background in the retail energy market. You will be a successful leader, with excellent written and oral communication skills, a well-informed and creative approach to problem-solving, the ability to operate in a busy and complex political environment and experience of working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.  Experience in the public sector would be an advantage.
