Programme Support Officer (European Programmes)

European programmes continue until their closure in 2023-24, with their replacement, the domestically-funded UK Shared Prosperity Fund being piloted this year.  We are seeking an individual who has experience of working within a busy and collaborative environment. 

 

The position will play a key role in supporting the European Programmes Management Team in managing EU funded projects with high-level administrative support such as arranging meetingsproducing meeting documentation and supporting the team with managing the UK governments online contracts payments systems - Eclaims; as well as providing project management support activity such as tracking project performance against targets, liaising with grant recipients, co-ordinating and chasing for information on behalf of programme officers and managers.   

 

You will have excellent organisational and IT skills to manage your workload and support initiatives in the team. 

 

You will maintain lines of communication with senior managers and their support staff across the organisation and keep abreast of planned meetings and key developments relevant to the unit.

This role will be based at London Fire Brigade’s Head Office (Union Street, SE1 0LL). Over the coming weeks and months, the GLA will move to hybrid working. You will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
