GLA OPS Officer

We are looking for a GLA OPS Officer to join our busy Open Project System (OPS) team. We’re passionate about building on the success of OPS, the GLA’s grant and project management system.

As we move to the corporate roll out of this new system, you will play a key role in ensuring that we are creating a good user friendly system. We want to listen to our users and take on feedback as this is the core of agile development, and as the GLA OPS Officer, you will lead in collating and responding to feedback and queries.

The GLA OPS Officer will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day OPS service, liaising with key stakeholders across the GLA and its external partners. Working as an integral part of the OPS Delivery Team, you will build an in depth understanding of the OPS system, including its underlying architecture, vision, functions, interfaces and features and how it is used to deliver the Mayor’s priorities across London. You will interface with users across the Authority and its delivery partners to maximise delivery. You will ensure that regular business tasks are completed and that users are kept at the forefront of any new development work. The GLA OPS Officer will aid the discovery process and undertake analysis of requirements and solutions as needed. You will also assist in project template creation, utilising JavaScript Object Notification (JSON).

The ideal candidate will be passionate and eager to learn, a team player, and will take ownership of their work. A problem solver that can work well under pressure is a must.
