Would you like to join an ambitious and forward looking unit of analysts, researchers, data scientists and other experts, working for one of the world’s truly global cities?
You will develop new data partnerships bringing together data from central and local government, civic society and the private sectors, and provide innovative intelligence and analytics. You will apply your existing expertise with data to generate new city models and outputs to support the Mayor’s work in areas such as social integration, civic society, health inequalities and economic fairness.
Working on a wide range of projects each year, you will:
- Get the opportunity to have a real impact on the way the GLA works and the decisions it takes
- Carry out data science projects working both with GLA staff members and with data scientists, analysts and policy experts from the London Boroughs, Central Government and London’s specialist SMEs.
- Work with a variety of interesting datasets and play an active role in London’s open data community
We are looking for curious, flexible thinkers who have excellent statistical, technical and interpersonal skills and who are keen to constantly develop and learn new skills. We need people who can apply a wide range of datasets to provide answers to pressing policy questions. If you enjoy working with clients to turn their ideas and challenges into completed pieces of work and are passionate about using data for the benefit of all Londoners, apply today.
