Research & Support Officer (Economy) - Conservatives

This is a unique chance to become a Research and Support Officer, specialising on the economy, for the GLA Conservative Members of the London Assembly. London is the most vibrant, most diverse and most energetic capital in the world – few jobs can boast such potential and such excitement.

 

Key to your work will be the drafting of reports on issues of importance to London. You will be experienced in writing reports which gain media coverage on issues in order to engender debate in London.

 

You will provide core research and policy briefings, advice and support to Conservative Assembly Members on the GLA functions geared towards supporting the London economy. Excellent organisational, research, analytical and problem solving skills are essential for this role. Collaborative and diplomatic, you will bring to the role a demonstrable flair for communicating and influencing both in person and in writing. Over time, other research briefs may also become available, meaning that there are good opportunities for development with this role.
