Principal Project Manager – Transport Projects

In 2026, a brand new High-Speed rail station will open at Old Oak in West London, providing an interchange with the new Elizabeth Line, the Great Western Mainline, and acting as a catalyst for the large scale regeneration of Old Oak and Park Royal. With the opportunity to create 25,500 new homes and 65,000 new jobs over a 20-30 period, this is one of the largest and most exciting regeneration projects in the country. The Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) is now seeking a Principal Project Manager to drive forward the co-ordination and delivery of a significant portfolio of Transport infrastructure projects, working in partnership with key public-sector bodies, national government, landowners, infrastructure providers, and developers.

 

As a Principal Project Manager, you can expect to play a key role in aligning stakeholder interests and objectives for various projects, creating agreement on strategy, developing clear project plans and defined roles and responsibilities, and managing their delivery.

 

You will bring solid experience in managing Transport projects to time, budget, and quality. You will be experienced in the public sector preferably with experience of delivering projects for Network Rail and/or Transport for London, with demonstrable experience of engaging with stakeholders across the HS2 Ltd, NR, TfL, Local Borough’s and the GLA to develop and deliver project objectives.
