Policy, Research and Evidence Officer

The GLA’s Communities and Social Policy Unit is recruiting a Policy, Evidence and Research Officer to work in its Equalities and Fairness team. The team is developing and will implement the GLA’s Diversity and Inclusion Strategy as well as a programme of work on fairness. This will include a making a key contribution to the Mayor’s priorities of promoting economic fairness and social integration.

 

We are looking for someone to help ensure our policy making is informed by robust data and evidence and that it responds to – and shapes – the latest policy developments. You will have experience of working with complex data sets, including qualitative and quantitative data; knowledge of and experience of working on social policy issues; and the ability to communicate complex and sensitive issues clearly and concisely and brief decision makers.

 

You will work closely with the GLA’s Intelligence Unit, the other teams in the Communities and Social Policy Unit and teams across the GLA.
